Marcia Grantham, CMC Town Clerk
Born in Marion, Indiana, relocated with her family to Pinellas County when she was 9 years old, and has an identical twin sister named Myrna. Marcia has two sons: Gregory, who works for a local fire communications company, and Todd, who is a fireman with Pinellas Suncoast Fire & Rescue. She has one grandchild, Zackery who is 13 years old. AND then there is her SMOKY, who doesn’t yet know he is a cat.
She was a legal secretary prior to starting her career with the Town in 1979, when she was hired to work a half-day as a Secretary in the Police Department and a half-day in Town Hall. She was appointed Deputy Town Clerk in 1980, Town Clerk in 1983 and received her Certified Municipal Clerk designation in 1985.
Her duties are varied but encompass such tasks as custodian of official records, oversees municipal elections, coordinates Council/Committee meetings, prepares legal ads for ordinances and Comprehensive Plan amendments, and monitors Franchise for solid waste.
During her 30 years with the Town she has served with 9 Mayors and 50 plus Council Members. One very unique election in Town resulted in two races being tied. The race for Mayor was won by former Mayor Myers by one vote, and the history making coin toss in another tie vote for a Council position was won by Dan Giannini.
Marcia loves spending time in the beautiful Smoky Mountains in North Carolina, and her hobbies are reading, bowling and Zumba.

Bonnie Dhonau, Administrative Assistant/Public Information Officer
Bonnie started her career with the Town in June of 2006. A multi-generational Floridian, her family's history in Florida dates back to when Florida was still just a Territory.
In her role as the Public Information Officer, Bonnie had the vision for the Town to celebrate with the Tampa Bay Rays and provide Mayor Lawrence with the opportunity to throw out a ceremonial pitch at The Trop. This idea quickly caught fire and ultimately became "Gulf Beaches Day at the Rays".
Also in her role as PIO, Bonnie is the editor for the Mayor's Email Updates and most recently has undertaken a reworking of the Town's website.
Bonnie is also actively involved in grant writing for the Town.
