Join the library staff in welcoming R. Wayne Ayers, editor of George Lizotte's Pioneer Days in Tampa Bay's Gulf Beaches on Tuesday, February 27, at 5:00 p.m.
Pioneer Days on Tampa Bay's Gulf Beaches is an eye-witness account that describes events from 1898-1940 in the development of our beach communities.
The events, as related by Lizotte, are remarkable, daring, sometimes hilarious and always entertaining and informative. Books are available for purchase.
The event will take place in the 4th floor Community Center. It is free but a ticket is required. Pick up one from the Library by February 24. Hours are: Mon, Tue, Thu 1-4 pm and Sat 10 am - 1 pm.
