[ARCHIVED] Events set for National Consumer Protection Week - March 5-9, 2018

Pinellas County residents will have a week of activities to obtain important information about avoiding identity theft, protecting their privacy, managing money and debt, and steering clear of frauds and scams.

National Consumer Protection Week is an annual campaign designed to inform citizens about individual consumer rights and provide the knowledge to make informed decisions on consumer-related topics such as protecting online privacy, managing personal finances and avoiding scams. Programs will include public presentations, information booths and two shredding events. All events are open to the public and free of charge.
