The Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections reminds voters that early voting will take place Saturday, August 18 – Sunday, August 26 at the three Supervisor of Elections Offices only for the August 28 Primary Election.

Florida has closed primary elections. Only voters registered with a political party are eligible to vote in that party's closed Primary Election. ALL registered voters may vote in nonpartisan school board contests and judicial contests. The State Representative District 70 Contest is a Universal Primary Contest in which all qualified candidates are registered with the same political party. All registered voters in State Representative District 70 are eligible to vote in this contest regardless of party affiliation. The candidate who receives the most votes will be the winner and the contest will not appear on the General Election ballot.
Voters may choose to vote by mail, at an early voting location or at their polling places on Election Day. The deadline to request that a ballot be mailed is August 22, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. For more information or to request a mail ballot, visit VotePinellas.com or call 727-464-VOTE (8683).
