[ARCHIVED] "Festivale 50" Celebration of the Arts scheduled February 22

Pinellas Community Foundation invites the public to help them celebrate 50 years and $50 million given to support the community on Friday, February 22, from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Creative Pinellas - 12211 Walsingham Rd, , Largo.

Festivale 50 is a Celebration of the Arts in Pinellas. You’ll find inspiring and innovative art, music and dance with interactive exhibits on the Midway. You’ll experience the fun of theatre, dance, music and art activities created by organizations you have helped support.

All artists and art organizations are recipients of grants bestowed by Pinellas Community Foundation (PCF). The grant awards help greatly to fill the gap left by deep cuts in statewide funding for cultural endeavors. And we want to celebrate you for advocating for the arts in our area through PCF.

Admission is free with a PCF membership of $50 or more or $30 for nonmembers. One set fee enables attendees to enjoy festival food and experience activities such as trying a pottery wheel, listening to the Ruth Eckerd Hall traveling chorus, playing drums, oboe and other musical instruments, and engaging with working artists.

For tickets and schedule, see Festivale 50 or call (727) 531-0058.
