The Pinellas County Air Quality Division is issuing an Air Pollution Precaution due to elevated levels of the pollutant OZONE. This advisory is effective immediately, today, April 17, 2019.
We are experiencing elevated levels of ozone in Pinellas County and expect levels may reach the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups Air Quality Index range (101 – 150) this afternoon. Individuals with pre-existing respiratory ailments, the elderly, or the very young may want to take this into consideration when planning any outside activities.
Conditions that could lead to today's elevated levels are forecast to be the same tomorrow.
