Today, the State of Florida released information about a new registration system at www.myvaccine.fl.gov. This State of Florida site is independent of today’s 3:00 p.m. signup for Pinellas County's appointments for vaccines.
Registering at the new State site at https://myvaccine.fl.gov/ DOES NOT REPLACE signing up at the Pinellas County Patient Portal. The State's My Vaccine site is independent of how Pinellas is providing the 10,000 vaccine appointments at 3:00 p.m. today.
Seniors 65+ who have registered on the CDR Maguire Patient Portal can book available appointments for COVID-19 vaccines beginning at 3:00 p.m. today. The site is www.PatientPortalFL.com and demand for 10,000 is expected to be heavy. Appointments will go very quickly, so registering ahead of time is the best option.
Other counties are using the State's My Vaccine system, but Pinellas is not at this time. You must register and log into the CDR Maguire Patient Portal to register for the appointments that will go live today at 3:00 p.m.
If you also wish to sign up at the state’s My Vaccine system, it’s optional, and it will not get you an appointment in Pinellas because the system is not yet in use in our county.
To reiterate, for one of 10,000 vaccine appointments that will go live in Pinellas at 3:00 p.m., you Must USE THE CDR MAGUIRE PATIENT PORTAL AT WWW.PATIENTPORTALFL.COM.
