[ARCHIVED] Reminder - Barrier Island Re-Entry Passes Are Available Online

Indian Shores residents are reminded to get their re-entry pass if they haven't already in preparation of Tropical Depression Fred affecting Pinellas County.

The Barrier Island Re-Entry Program was established to keep beach areas safe in the aftermath of a hurricane or tropical storm so only people who own property on the beach are able to access the area after such an incident.

You can now apply for these passes online. Go to https://www.pcsoweb.com/emergency-access-permit to learn how. You will still only be allowed two per household.

If you still need to get your permit and want to do it in person, Indian Shores residents should see below for location and times.

Indian Shores Police Department (19305 Gulf Blvd)., 2nd floor
Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

You will need a government issued photo identification (for example: a driver’s license or passport) AND proof of residency (for example: a utility bill or property tax receipt).

Please call the Indian Shores Police Department if you have any questions (727) 595-5414.
