Pinellas County Utilities reports that the water storage tanks are critically low due to high demand. Crews finished repairs made on the reclaimed water main last Friday and normal service has resumed.
Customers may irrigate before 10 a.m. or after 6 p.m. on authorized watering days.
Pinellas County Utilities is encouraging South County reclaimed water customers (includes Indian Shores) to follow the three-day-per-week restrictions currently in place to avoid service interruptions.
South County reclaimed water customers may currently water 3 days a week, based on house address, according to the following schedule:
Addresses ending in even numbers may irrigate on Tuesday, Thursday and/or Saturday.
Addresses ending in odd numbers may irrigate on Wednesday, Friday and/or Sunday.
Mixed address properties or those without an address such as common areas, may irrigate on Wednesday, Friday and/or Sunday.
Irrigating with reclaimed water is prohibited between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Irrigation is prohibited at all times on Monday.
Customers may call the Utilities customer service line at (727) 464-4000 if they have any questions.
