The NOAA has reported a significant bloom off our coast (satellite image below). With the weather issues, FWC has not been able to get offshore to investigate.
Samples were collected yesterday, and very low levels were found at most locations.
There is a strong offshore wind that is expected to stay in place through the week which is helpful.
